OUR STORY
Every celebration has a story. Ours began with one simple act of love.
In 2016, after losing my mother to cancer, my family established an annual bowling tournament in her honor to raise money for cancer awareness. Wanting to contribute in a meaningful way, I volunteered to create a balloon arch for the tournament entrance. At the time, I had no idea that one simple design would become the foundation of something much greater.
The response was incredible. Participants stopped to admire the display, and seeing the joy it brought others sparked a passion I never knew I had. When the tournament organizers asked me to return the following year, I gladly accepted.
For the next several years, I continued designing for the event, challenging myself to create something new each year. With every installation came more creativity, more confidence, and a deeper appreciation for how thoughtful design can transform a space and create lasting memories.
One day during setup, my older brother looked at me and said, "Maybe you should start a business."
Until that moment, the thought had never crossed my mind. But once he planted the seed, I couldn't stop imagining what was possible.
What began as a volunteer project created out of love and remembrance soon grew into Designs by A&M.
Today, Designs by A&M has evolved into a full-service wedding planning, coordination, and event design company proudly serving couples and families throughout the Tampa Bay area. While our services have expanded far beyond balloon décor, the heart behind everything we do remains the same—to create meaningful, beautifully designed celebrations where lasting memories are made.
Every wedding, proposal, and special event is an opportunity to help tell someone else's story, and it is a privilege I never take for granted.
Nearly a decade later, I'm still inspired by the same passion that started it all. What began as a tribute to my mother has grown into a business dedicated to celebrating love, life's biggest milestones, and the people who matter most.

Adrienne is the founder and creative heart behind Designs by A&M. She works closely with every client to transform their vision into a thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed celebration. From the initial consultation to the final farewell, Adrienne is dedicated to creating a seamless, personalized experience that allows her clients to be fully present for every meaningful moment.
Angie Torres
Event Assistant
Angie plays an essential role in bringing every event to life. From styling decor and assisting with installations to handling the many behind-the-scenes details, she helps ensure each celebration is beautifully executed. Her creativity, positive energy, and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of the Designs by A&M team.
John Ruffin
Operations & Event Support
John helps keep every event running smoothly by managing logistics, transporting decor, assisting with installations, and supporting setup and breakdown. His calm, dependable nature and willingness to jump in wherever needed help ensure every celebration comes together seamlessly.
