The Story of Designs by A&M

After losing my mother to cancer in 2016, a bowling tournament was established in her honor to raise money for cancer awareness. What started out as volunteer balloon work for the tournament has blossomed into a passion for party and event decor. We created a balloon arch to place at the entrance of the bowling alley. At that time, we didn’t really know impact of balloon design, yet the participants enjoyed the arrangement. The tournament directors asked if we would continue to design for the tournament annually. We agreed of course. For the next three years we would build and design, adding more flair and patterns each year. There were so many options as to what we could do! While assisting in the building process, my elder brother noticed how invested we were and quipped “maybe you should start a business”. Before then, the idea never crossed my mind. But once he mentioned it, we couldn’t stop thinking about it. We have a ton of fun doing it and love to see the reactions from viewers as they walk by. Now here we are, 8 years after building that first balloon arch. Welcome to Designs by A&M!
